Upcoming Fly Fishing Courses at Sea-Run Fly & Tackle

Sea-Run Fly & Tackle in Coquitlam has two upcoming fly fishing courses available. To book a spot in any of these classes please call the the store at 604-931-5044, email [email protected] or come to the store at #110 1140 Austin Avenue Coquitlam. Space is limited so please pre-register.

Beginner Fly Fishing School

This class is ideal for those who wish to get into fly fishing. There are two components of this class.

Saturday February 2nd, 7:00pm - 9:30pm
The theory portion of the class covers rods, reels, lines, leaders, entomology, knots and general basics of fly fishing.

Sunday February 3rd, 10:00am - 12:00pm
The casting portion of this class focus on everything one needs to know about getting started in fly casting. Sea-Run Fly and Tackle can provide rods, reels and lines for the class if necessary.

The cost of this class is $110.00 plus HST.

Fundamental Fly Tying Class

This winter, learn all the tricks to become an accomplished fly tier. This class is for beginners as well as those who would like to touch up their skills. The class will run at 10:00am over four consecutive Sundays: January 27th, February 3rd, February 10th and February 17th

The cost of this class is $89.98 plus HST.

Sea-Run Fly & Tackle can provide all tools and base materials to get you started in our class. These classes are instructed by longtime BC professional fly tying instructor and commercial fly tier Dennis Gamboa.
