Thousands of Chum Salmon
| Description | 2012's Fraser River chum salmon run has been big, estimated to be more than 2.5 million fish. At the Alouette River, a tributary of the Lower Fraser River, thousands of spawning chum salmon stage below the fish counting fence. We filmed these footages during an egg-take session with Seymour Salmonid Society and students from BCIT (see photos). |
