Ucluelet BC Saltwater Fishing Report
By Shawn Grant, Hot Pursuit Charters | Last updated: August 25th, 2021
August Salmon fishing in Ucluelet BC has been very productive and double headers are common place. There have been quality fish moving down the coastline in the past couple weeks and we expect that to continue. Wya point, Little Beach, Red Can and Begg Island have been great producers with many fish in the 20-30 lb range. Swale Rock and Harbours Entrance in the Barkley Sound have also provided good fishing and shelter from the winds we have been having lately. Fishing at depths of 50-70 ft. with spoons like the Skinny G No Bananas have been working or if you like Hoochies the Pistachio Glow or White Glow have been getting the job done as well.
Halibut fishing is going strong with quality fish being caught at the Barnyard and Outside Light.
